Day Care Centres in Construction Sites
(An initiative by ICDS, Local NGO’s – Mumbai Mobile Crèches & Nirman and B.G Shirke Constructions)

Behavioural Change Communications on personal hygiene through hand washing
(A joint initiative by Government, UNICEF and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. and Ogilvy Action)

• Improving adult literacy along with awareness on Health & Nutrition amongst tribal women through computer aided Program

A Behaviour Change Communications project on Complementary Nutrition for children between 6-12 months in partnership between Hindustan Unilever, UNICEF, & Rajmata Jijau State Health & Nutrition Mission.

• Day Care Centres in Dharavi Slums
Day Care Centres for prevention and management of under nutrition in the age group 0-3 years children of working mothers in partnership between SNEHA and ICDS.

 Improving Supply Chain of Medicines & Vaccines at Government Health Facilities
 A pilot to improve availability of medicines and supplies at Primary Health Centres in partnership between Department of Health and Family Welfare & HUL

Improving payment systems for grassroots functionaries of ICDS:
An initiative to reduce procedural delays identified in the current payment system of grassroots functionaries of ICDS for improving its Supplementary Nutrition Programme and services in partnership between Financial Information and Network Operations Ltd. ( FINO) and ICDS with financial support from IFMR Trust.
